Nick recalls - Immediately after awarding the contract to Onyx, they got to work formatting our new PC’S offsite and also liaised with broadband suppliers and other IT companies involved within the existing computer system at 316.
Onyx were brilliant at this and removed a lot of the concerns and worries I had, having to be the middle man between IT support companies and Onyx, relaying and dealing with issues and technical jargon, I really did not fully understand.
The actual days during the on site transition period were equally as well planned and the downtime kept to a minimum. Onyx worked with us to agree a schedule of which PC’S had priority and these were exchanged first, allowing us to maintain client and financial contact with the relevant people.
Rob, Paul and Mick, were very courteous and efficient and knowing that they are also in Norwich supporting our system, a system that they know, is also very reassuring.
I am naturally suspicious of the quality and knowledge of IT companies, Nick comments, having previously had far from the greatest of advice and support. I would however, genuinely recommend Onyx to any company or individual looking to install a new system or to upgrade an existing system, as they not only supply a good solution, they remove a lot of the hassle involved in doing so.
