The NWES and Onyx relationship has developed greatly over the last few years, a relationship that Onyx as a company, has been a stabilising factor in relation to our ICT Infrastructure and therefore, in turn a factor in our own growth.

I do not believe that the current situation of 60 employees, across 9 sites and 10 servers and including remote working and a mixture of laptops, desktops working within an extremely reliable system with minimal downtime would have been achieved without your considerable input. In addition to the infrastructure, you have guided us on other significant issues such as data backup, recovery, security, software and generally acted as a means to ICT progression. This has always been completed with a pragmatic business sense and working to our budgets and timescales.

Whilst a Service Level Agreement is in place, you have always offered more than is stated in terms of telephone advice, ad-hoc actions and call out timescales.

I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you to your team there at Onyx for the successful installation of our new server.

As you were aware it was a big step for us, but it was one that has definitely paid off. Our biggest concern was always the ‘down time’ that would be incurred through such an operation, however due to the professionalism and helpfulness of both your sales and technical staff the whole job was executed superbly.

As with all companies you can only truly evaluate them when problems occur and you see how they are dealt with. The backup service we have had from you has been second to none and rest assured all future IT investment will be done through Onyx.
