Onyx IT Support Portal - Update
The adoption of the Onyx IT Support Portal by 99% of our customers has been a considerable success with end users enjoying easy creation of INITIAL support requests via the easy to use Portal interface, which in turn enables us to prioritise and get the right team to deal with your issue.
We of course accept that there will be times when you will need to call us to raise an INITIAL support request perhaps when your PC doesn’t start, the broadband is down or you simply can’t logon to your network. Based upon your feedback the Portal is clearly the way forward for the majority of daily support or service requests.
Your internal policy
Depending on your company policy you, a designated colleague or your end users are only a few clicks away from creating a support request. These are received directly into our support database, which even as the acknowledgment email is on its way to you, we will already be prioritising and allocating the most suitable team and individual technician best placed to service your request.
Helping us to help you better
By working together you are directly helping to maintain and improve our service to you whilst helping to avoid passing on unnecessary administration costs now or in the future.
To this effect from March 17th 2014 we will be actively encouraging end users who phone for INTIAL support when it should be placed on the Portal, to do so OR re-directing them to the designated IT point of contact(s).
