We proudly sponsored a Rocket Car Racing project, donating £250 for kits that included polystyrene blocks, axles, wheels, and CO2 bottles. This initiative not only provided students with the materials to design, paint, and build their own cars but also offered an exciting, hands-on learning experience.
The excitement was palpable on race day as the students gathered to showcase their creations, embodying their inner Adrian Newey. The afternoon was a thrilling spectacle of innovation and speed, with cars racing along a 20-meter fixed steel line, achieving impressive times of just a few seconds.
The students’ enthusiasm and ingenuity were on full display, particularly the team of boys who built the fastest car and earned themselves £10 Amazon vouchers each. This project was more than just a race; it was an opportunity for students to engage with technology in a fun and practical way, fostering skills in design, engineering, and teamwork.
